February 16, 1945

February 16,1945, was the date when the people of Antipolo fled the town and seek refuge in Sitio Colaique in Antipolo and eventually ending up in Binangonan and finally to Quiapo in Manila. Fleeing from bombardments from the US army which was trying to flush out the Japanese.With Her protection the people found solace from despair and happiness from sadness. This pictures shows some of the memories that the people tries to reminisce from those troubled years..
